The Lancers Reactor is a fan-run reference site built by people who have been playing Freelancer since 2003. We are not journalists, not influencers, and not affiliated with any game studio. We are players who think this game deserves a well-organized home on the modern web.

Why This Site Exists

Freelancer information is scattered across aging forums, archived wiki pages, Reddit threads, and modding communities that each hold part of the picture. Getting the full story — how to install the game, what the lore says, which mods are worth playing, whether a sequel is coming — requires digging through dozens of sources. The Lancers Reactor exists to consolidate that information into a single, readable, well-maintained resource.
